The short version: this website stores nothing about you. Our inquiry forms open WhatsApp with your message — the data goes to our WhatsApp business account, not a database. We use what you share only to serve your wholesale inquiry and orders, we never sell it, and you can ask us to delete it at any time.

Who we are

BrownBarry is a brand of Prime Apparel Exports, a GST- and MSME (Udyam)-registered business in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. We supply women's ethnic wear wholesale to retailers across India. For anything in this policy, contact us at hello@brownbarry.com.

What this website collects

Almost nothing, by design.

No accounts, no cookies set by us, no analytics trackers are currently used on this website.
Forms don't submit to a server. The inquiry and partner-application forms compose a WhatsApp message on your device and open WhatsApp — this website itself stores nothing you type.
Hosting logs. Like any website, our hosting provider may record standard technical logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) for security and reliability. We don't use these to identify you.

What we receive on WhatsApp and email

When you contact us, we receive what you choose to share — typically your name, business name, city, WhatsApp number, GSTIN (if you share it), and your messages. Our WhatsApp desk is AI-assisted: an assistant may draft the first acknowledgement and route your query before a team member takes over. We say this here because we disclose it everywhere else too.

How we use your information

To respond to your inquiry and share catalogues and pricing you asked for.
To process, invoice, dispatch, and support your orders — including GST invoicing in your business name.
To share dispatch details with courier partners so your order can be delivered.
To tell existing partners about new collections — only if you've asked for updates, and you can say "stop" anytime.

What we never do

We never sell or rent your information to anyone.
We never share your details with third parties except couriers (for delivery) and as required by law (e.g., GST records).
We never use your order history to compete with your store.

How long we keep it

Conversation history stays in our WhatsApp business account so your account contact has context. Invoice and transaction records are retained as Indian tax law requires. If you ask us to delete your conversation data, we will — except records we're legally required to keep.

Your choices

Ask what information we hold about you — we'll tell you plainly.
Ask us to correct or delete it (subject to legal retention of tax records).
Opt out of new-collection updates with a single message.

Changes to this policy

If we add analytics, a form backend, or anything else that changes what's collected, this page will be updated first and the "last updated" date revised. We won't quietly change the deal.
